What you can contact us about

What happens when you email us

  1. Omair Sao reads every message personally within two working days. There are no auto-replies or ticketing systems.
  2. If you have reported a possible error, we re-check the figure against the official GOV.UK, HMRC or DWP source before changing anything, then update the page and record the correction on our about page.
  3. If you have suggested a new tool or an improvement, we will tell you whether it is something we plan to build and, if so, roughly when.

What we cannot help with

We are a small independent publisher, not an advice service, so there are things we cannot do. We cannot tell you what to claim or how to arrange your affairs, chase HMRC or the DWP on your behalf, or comment on a specific tax return or benefit decision. For free, confidential help with a personal situation, contact Citizens Advice, MoneyHelper or TaxAid for tax problems on a low income. To challenge a benefit decision, ask the DWP for a mandatory reconsideration within one month of the decision letter.

Your privacy

Anything you send us is used only to answer your message. We never add you to a mailing list, and we delete emails containing personal financial details once the query is resolved. Our privacy policy explains how the website itself handles data.
